Here is a quick tip for all sales professionals regardless of industry.

In a digital world, how do you stand out from the competition?

Let me tell you:

After a meeting, a great phone call, a presentation, a sale or really anything that was meaningful, you sit down and write the other person/s a thank you note or card.

This single act, will not go unnoticed.  I started this when I first got into insurance, my clients always really appreciated it.  Then when I started my first business, I sent a thank you note to every customer.  Often times instead of posting pictures of the merchandise they have bought on social media they would post a picture of the thank you card.

The extra few minutes this takes you, is well worth it to show those that invested time or money or both, that you are appreciated.
